    Hello...ok so heres the story, one of my acros falls on a stinging lps...damm mexican turbos so...in about 3 days its dead...then everything is going fine...when the lights go off all 3 acros r fine...when i wake up...one is completly white and dead...any reasons? that acor did fall on the killer coral but...like 2 months ago and was fully recovered...or so i thought? r there any silent 1 night killers for acros?

    What was the killer LPS. Has anything grown to the point that feeders could be reaching your SPS.
    I'm constantly moving my SPS because I've got monster bubble and Hammer corals.

    Looks like a Galaxia of some sort. They are well know to be aggressive and could be sweeping out at night.
    there are mainly factors that can take out a coral. Aquaculture and frags seem to be more tolerant than a harvested mother colony.
    Several things can take out an SPS coral. Temp stability, SG, PH, and general water quality Stability. Soft coral and LPS warfare, polyp eating crabs. But generally I would think most of these wouldn't be over night killers. Were polyp extensions normal up unit it died?

    ya they were fine...there was a little hairy crab living in it but...actually it grew pretty fast when it first came it was like 1/3 in and now its like 3/5 in...but...the only diff was that i changed the temp from 80 to 78...would that make a big diff?

    also...ive seen the galaxia tenticles but i dont thing they could reach the acro...well i suppose it might be for the best...im gona wait to get acros till i get the beta dual 70w mh 24gal nano lol...i cant wait fro july :) its monti pora for me for now! god...i love montipora
