are u talking about green thing with red tips? mate u tell me what it is haha its been in my tank since i put the live rock in, must have been a hitchhiker. it used to be small and stayed in the same spot but lately its had a growth spurt and has started moving around more, it decided to set up shop right next to my pulsating xenia and killed that off pretty quick. what is a euphillia anyhow?

If its moving and killed your xenia then it is definitly an anemone. If it likes its spot, dont move it, or else it will take out other stuff..

Can we get a full tank picture? Im sure many others would like to see it. What kind of lights are you running?

Very nice tank Fezzz! That hitchhiker appears to be a rather attractive pest anemone known as majano, and while the green with pink tips are much more appealing, it is best to remove them for the reasons you found out :). And euphyllias come in many varieties such as hammers, frogspawns and torchs.

I'll put some full tank shots up in the next few days, bit busy at the moment. Umm I'm running 4 t5s, half actinic half daylight.
So what's the best way to get rid of this pesky majano? I've
got some stuff to inject which I used to kill aptasia, will this work or is it too big now?
