Ok so I broke down and went and bought the camera I have had my eyes on for a while now.. the Canon PowerShot SX20 IS...it cost me about $400 but I just wanted something better than the little pocket cameras I've gone through in the past..Well I took it to work with me today, and needless to say Mother Nature was good to me in letting me get these pics...yes this is what i saw in just 1 day working in North Florida...lol

1 Deer (there was actually about 6 but this one posed)
    2 different Bald Eagles
    2 Storks

Very nice man. What state is this in? I love the scenery...

My advice though is return the powershot and buy a dslr. Nothing wrong with the camera but if you upgraded to that and like it, imagine upgrading to a dslr ;)

I recently got olympus e420 used from amazon. Check it out man. Just my 5 cents.

I just bought the same camera. You should be able to take some awesome super macro shots with it. Remember to use a tripod or stable surface to take those macro shots.
