Sorry if I hijack your thread. I have a 120g, I thinking order this KIT 48 Ultra Premium LED DIY Kit with Dimmable Drivers - Rapid LED. I want to set it on a timer also. Which driver should I order? And how would I order the LED?

Turbo with 60 degree optics prob hang it about 12-16 " at least! Those hanging kits from rapid are adjustable which is nice!

I agree with this, but do you have all that room in the canopy?? Canopy-less is sometimes easier when it comes to adjusting height. Mine is at 8" from the water top tho.

You can always DIY the wire to hang the heatsinks. Wire is pretty cheap 25 cent/ft at Homedepot, $1 S hooks, etc.

Are you gonna connect those heatsinks?

 

Well..my build will have to put on hold until this weekend!! Wife decided to take 4 days trip with the kids to Kalahari in Ohio.....hmmm.....i could have bought 2 radion for this week spending! lol...jK...spending time with the family and kids always worth every penny
