My LFS (The Fish DR) Had a really scary Angler Fish. Not sure how rare or expensive, But I know those are deep sea fish and require a lot of pressure.
Horribly grotesque looking thing too. Bad thing is I'm terrified of deep sea fish and I had night mares of the darn thing for a few nights. It was only about the size of A soft ball, maybe a wee bit bigger, but my god it looked like a living dead thing.

I would be happy to even have a LFS, let alone one that had rare specimens.

Aren't there a coulple of Pet Smarts in Reno:confused:. Just kidding, and I'm sorry that you miss out on the great and sacred ritual of being able to walk into the LFS (even if it is 30-60 minutes away) and drool over a new shipment of hundreds of fish. On the upside, the internet age has made things so much easier. I've gotten messages from company presidents in Germany and it's nothing to be able to check out the stock of great stores in Indiana or Minnessota. When my last tank was up in 2001, it was look at a 1 page ad in a fish magazine.

Based on price, that would be a dragon eel.
