Mine HATED my T5 lights and was bleaching at a maddening rate. I swapped it with my 70w HQI and it sprung back to life. It is a deep color now and has grown significantly.

Moving from T5 to MH, your tank will need to adjust to the change. Keep that in mind so you don't burn the tank inhabitants. Most anemones are not very deep animals and will need 10000K bulbs. They can get by with 14000K, but I have seen the best response with 10000K's. Just my own experience anyway. :)

maybe that was the problem? It was more then enough to sustain it, so much more it bleached it.

    I'm halide guy though;D

Honestly, it will take a lot of care to help this little guy. I nursed mine back from this exact state, but it took months of daily care. I fed it small portions of HUFA soaked mysis every day. It is way too small and weak to eat silversides or krill. The lighting it needs is strong 10000K bulbs, the spectrum they need is in that, actinics really don't really do anything for them except make them look pretty to our eyes. Actinics are used by deep level animals, below 30 feet. When you get your MH lights, put it under 10000K bulb, if you got one. Don't put it too high up, about mid tank. Have it one for about 4 hours to start off with. And lastly, make sure the water parameters are GOOD. Try to get the phosphates down, I wouldn't be surprised if that is why it is struggling.

When I first bought it, it was pretty pale, though it still had some tan/green to it. My T5 were 2x24 over my 12G nano. It had 1x10000K and one actinic. I tried both Geissman and Icecap bulbs and my nem did not respond well. After I put in the 70w 10000K, it is growing like a freaking weed!
Here is a shot when I first bought it. I'll take an updated photo as soon as I can. It was about 2" across, here and now it's about 9".

Wow really nice bubbles, I can't get any of my 3 BTA's to bubble up like that, jealous much.

Interesting on it's response to the lights, I have mine under T5's currently. Coloration is good for all but just few to no bubbles.

Here's a pic of what mine look like:

is this one of these cases where the tank hasnt been established long enough for a nem? your previous tank was up for how long when you transferred
