    Hey all,
Ive had an RBTA for a few months now, three I think.. Anyway it was doing great, still looks great other than it never was very "bubbly". I have a naked clown that has just started to creep into the anemone a little bit. I feed it once a week at the most, a small piece of shrimp soaked in Selcon. It's under 250W 14K MH lights for 11 hours and 96x4 PC for 13hours. My water params are:
    Amm 0ppm
    Ni 0ppm
    Nitrate 5ppm
    Cal 420
    Alk 10DKH
    ph 8.1
    mag 1440-1470

Ok so now with that out of the way yesterday I noticed a BTA tentacle floating aroung in my tank, this morning there are two more. Other than that the BTA looks fine Thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.

Its more then likely the clown fish.. :) Since you said you just noticed it was staring to pay attention to the anemone

I do have many blue, red and green legged hermits, its not near a power head. Since I noticed the first tentacle I havent seen the clown go back in to the anemone.

The clowns are really sometimes not that great for them to be with an anemone .. What they do is take notice then start acclimating to the anemone then they want it to move and then they will pluck off tentacles and bitting at it until it relocates .. bet you did not no that did you ? Most people don't Anemones belong in a species specific tank only all by themselves and no clowns or corals are needed .

LOL, no I did not know that so thanks for the new fact. As I think about it I think your answer may be correct, since the anemone is on the oppsosite side of the tank that the clowns ususally hang out in. I'm going to try to stay up and watch the tank to see if I notice anything.
