I buy an rtba last night. Put it in my tank, and I wake up this morning, is laying on my powerhewd. I don't knows if is luck or bad luck. I manage to cut up my powerhead and freed my rbta. It bottom or foot got stuck in the powerhead (korolia). It has about 10-15% damage to it bottom or foot. I saw some white thingy spilling out from the bottom of the foot. Is he a goner, what can I do to help it recover? Thank

oooooo thats bad, as far as i know if the foot gets damaged there is little chance of it surviving mainly due to infections (but im a noob). guess let it be, keep water params perfect and a close eye on it, the second its drifting flabby, mouth open on your sand bed remove it.

I had one take like 75% damage via a powerhead and it is still alive after two years. If ur water quality is good you have a decent chance. My wife ended up putting it in a specimen cup with some holes drilled into it for flow to keep its clown fish from beating it up. 3 day's later it was about 50% better. Good luck!

keep hope! your best bet is to make sure no crabs or other critters will go for the wound hence the cup idea of janderson, and keep the water as clean as possible. also dont move it/touch it 2 much as it will probably stress her out and she needs to focus on healing

As with most injuries if you have pristine water conditions your creature has a shot. Good luck to both of you.

If your water is very clean and the nem doesn't get pestered by any other creatures than it should heal up in time.
