Remove the dead/dieing corals, siphon your sand or replace it at this point, scrub your rocks in a bucket, and start all over.

gimme a call whenever you get a chance, and we'll go from there....

Here's the velvety exterior of the rocks. Could I possibly go the route I discussed above, and slowly re-cure the rock? I've got plenty of time. If everything will die anyway, I'll jump ship--but if I can bring it back by curing the rock, and maybe getting rid of the sand, I'd like that--even if it takes a while to accomplish this. That way, I can hang on to my corals. The frogspawn, the hammer, and the mushrooms all look like they'll make it. As you said, Geek, the GSP is purple, so it's not dead. But it hasn't sprung a polyp in at least 14 days. The yellow polyp hasn't changed appearance either, but I know it's not dead either.

    Is all lost?

If you didnt have these problems prior to the move to the 90, then something fouled up from the time you moved it to 3 months after it. This didnt happen overnight, this slowly built up to where it is now. The water changes have helped you out so far. Even if you leave the sand in there, it will eventually work its self out. It just takes time and patience. If you're concerned about bacteria populations, pick up a bottle of cycle and dose it. eventually the turf algae will consume all the nutrients in the water and start to die off, which is why you need to scrub the rocks, cause when they die, they feed the next generation of algae. A tank "do over" is a last resort. I'll help you in anyway I can.
