So this is the reason I did it all. The light over my reef is a 400 watt halide ... and as a result I have a tough time putting anything in the upper portion of the tank, without it suffering. So instead of trying repeatedly to acclimate corals to the top tiers of the tank ... I decided to lower the top of the tank, and add some SPS, and slowly let them grow into the top as they see fit.

So here is the before shot:

And here is what I have done recently ... Let me know what you think.

And then I have a few pieces that require updates.
These acans were stung mercilously by a rogue bubble tip ... and are now recovering nicely

This is a frag of green encrusting monti that is doing great (it was an accidental frag as it was broken off, and buried in the sand for almost a week before noticing it ... it has bounced back nicely with some new growth, which has been pretty rapid.

These are my Electric Green Clove polyps which haven't been doing well at all lately ... but have taken a surprising turn for the better as of late. Plan on doing a frag session with them while they're in a good mood in hopes of saving the colony.

And last but not least, a few frags that have survived all of the chaos of the last few days.

The old aquascape looked good, but the new one looks very natural, IMO. Alot more like a garden, if you will. :)

    Great job!

The Tank is a 92 Gallon Corner Bowfront, with 30 Gallon Sump/Fuge

I use a Tunze 9210 skimmer, about 4 Hydor Powerheads, Ebo-Jager Heater, and a Mag 12 return pump.

Thats pretty much it for equipment.

The tank has been running for about a year now, so I'm a newbie still, no question about it.

I'd like to make my tank look as good as some of the members tanks ... but its a work in progress.

I'll clarify since I never do, and everyone makes this mistake lol. My name isn't Jack, although it sure looks like it.

The name is Tyler, LoJack was the first cichlid I ever owned, and got me hooked on this ridiculous hobby.
