    Will some one please post a picture of a working HOB protien skimmer so I can see about how much air needs to be in the reaction chamber. thnx

    You want the bubbles or foam to at least reach the bottom of the collection cup. And if you fill in your signature so everyone knows type of skimmer, tank, lights and etc.. you have you will get a better and more accurate answer.
