    Hi mlott132

    IMO starting with half the suggested dose of GFO and then building up over a 4 week period is a good idea
    even changes designed to improve conditions can shock corals etc, if they occur to rapidly
    the Hanna Checker was a good addition IMO, as you now have a much more accurate means of testing your phosphate levels

    Well the reactor came in today and I have it all setup and running. I am running a combination of gfo and ac. I assume that I want to maintain a zero phosphate level right? If that is the case, once it gets there do I backoff the amount of gfo, or stop using the reactor until the levels start to creep back up?
