Your tank cycled pretty fast looks like you used liverock? I used dry rock and 1 lb liverock and my tank cycled in about 2 1/2 weeks. Added two clowns and will be ordering a CUC from reefcleaners soon!

By the way did you go with a glass top or not? I have one on mine and I have almost no evaporation to worry about topping off daily but due have to clean it like once a week to keep under the light clean and clear.

 

I used only the front portion of the cover, yes it's all live rock, Figi and Caribbean, after the addition of rock and my ammonia spiked I cheated and added Biozyme yesterday.

 

I used the Dr Tims after a week in when I had some ammonia, I cant really say it worked overnight as the bottle claims and at 30 bucks I am not sure if it really sped the cycle up or not still took a couple weeks after I added it.

 

So far I added 2 Turbo snails, 5 Astrea snails, 1 Emerald crab, about 10 red leg reef hermits, what should I have for a 40 breeder, 80 lbs of live rock?
