    Alright--I have decided my next venture is a 300g. I am not having alot of luck finding one online. Any suggestions?? I only want the tank (Non Starphire, but corner flows.) I will build the stand and canopy.

    I have seen a marineland 300 cornerflow at the LFS, but dont want to pay retail at specialty store. Any online places you know of??

    I guess it depends on how you want it placed in your house, for that kind of money I would consider doing a woody like Horkin just completed. But if you want it out in the space like GotoSleep's where you have 3 viewing sides then I would spend some time looking for a used setup on craigslist or ebay, there have been a few systems I saw recently looking for similar money but they had all the extra equipment with them as well.
    The downside being you usually have to pick up locally and then clean it all :)

    Wish I lived on the bottom floor to get somethign that big o well time to buy a house! Gl with finding one though, if ur serious theres a local guy here by me I can hook you up with, he makes custom acrylic tanks that are to me beyond belief and hes known across the usa and a reputable guy. Better keep us up to date though on your build!

    If you goto River city aquatics they have a used tank department an I saw one there that is right up your alley. They are in Austin

    These guys also build big-ish tanks, and I think they are in Tx also. I've seen a few of these tanks and they are decent for the money.
