    hello i have a hopefully quick question .... can I or should i introduce a real brass porthole as decoration to my tank? 70 gallon with live rock

    Im going to say no.. You dont want any metals that oxidize..

    Isn't brass copper with zinc added to it? Cu is bad news in a reef tank.

    Yes, brass has copper and zinc in it. Not a good idea at all.

    sounds lik a cool idea just cant have inverts.mabe paint it with clear paint.
