Reality of my copepod cultures working?

    It was a fitting name for the way he's been zipping around after those pods!! I'm glad someone caught the reference!!
    The pod culture survived the transition into the tank and the subsequent dismantling of said tank in order to remove the damsel. I see them all over the glass, WOOT!!!

    You should dump the other half on the other side of the tank and hope they get into your live rocks and sand and hopefully they start to reproduce. Good luck and they are really prize keepers.

    I ended up dumping the entire jar in the night that I got them. I have another 1000 or so coming so I plan on introducing them under and around all the live rock with a turkey baster or target feeding tube. Think that will work ok?

    Now this is something I didn't really think about until now. Will my skimmer and filter eat my copepods? I know they won't literally eat them but will the filter and skimmer kill them or is this inconsequential?

    The skimmer won't do much to them except get them spun sick lol. Not sure on the filter though
