    now i'm guessing that with a solid, curved 18' pane the acrylic has to be poured on site? how else does one do that?

    i'm betting that i couldn't even afford to FEED that tank.

    Believe it or not pieces like that are manufactured and brought to the site - albeit VERY carefully. I worked on a project where I had to get a quote for a large curved piece very similar to that but taller (it was to enclose an upper balcony area in a library). The cost was insane. The client decided that they would deal with the open balcony instead :)

    This tank is enough to bring me to tears.....
