Really wanting to try a mantis

    would be a fun project, if i were to get one id probably just stick with the first one if i dont get a mantis im hoping there is some other cool invert that i would be able to try with my puffer, or just toss my single chromis in with him and see what happens

    The 20l is 20 liters or 5.3 gallons. A 20 tall is plenty.

    ohhh 20 liter thought it was short for 20 long i will deffiently have to look up on these guys

    it would mean i would have to purchace a new light, im out of funds right now but i cant get the possible new invert for a while anyways but maybe by the time i get my c.c. down again i will be able to afford a little 2 bulb odyssea light for the tank

    go for a smithii!! i love mine he has the funniest attitude and i even hand feed him now! he lays on his back sometimes and always comes to glass to see me. not to mention he always "taps" ;) the glass at 7 30 to wake me up in the morning. haha im dead serious! okay well maybe not exactly at 7 30 but hes pretty consistent!

    definitely! mine is too spoiled tho he wont go after food much anymore hes too lazy because i hand feed him now. :D i could probably put a bunch of slow fat gobys in there and he wouldnt even look at them twice, but instead stare at me until i feed him

    hahahaha thats awesome i will have to look into smiithe's i will also have to weigh out the price on what would be cheaper, buy a smitthi or buy a new light fixture and have a xenia garden, i will have to do more research on the mantis though, i think my puffer would really leave the mantis alone, maybe poke at it at first but then ignore it after a while, and i just want to make sure nothing snatches up my puffer for lunch when hes sleeping in the sand
