Wow, talk about adding insult to injury. That sucks dude, I feel for ya!

I think that this thread was/is a great idea, but as Coldshot stated,

"Now you know soon there will be people here with pictures of broken tanks hustling good folks so be careful from this point forward and know very well who you are helping out...the internet is ate up with hustlers......"

He makes a great and unfortunately a true point. Soon the word will get around that ppl here on 3reef will send $$$ to anyone who posts a pic or two of a shattered tank without question. This is just like the famous "bail-out" for the banks. We would have to be consistant with everyone who claims a misfortune. Just my 2-cents

Sorry to hear the wife is leaving and for the tank.

Hope all works out for ya

Hey, you win some, you lose some. You lost a tank and all but you gained your freedom. I know what your goin through. My wife is leaving me for the guy who takes care of fish tanks. I'll buy him a beer when I see him in the bar and tell him I am sorry for doin that to him. HA HA HA!!! Sorry to all the gals on here, but women are freakin nuts. Hopefully I will be able to get away for good. We need a section for " My wife left cause of fish". Man I just realized country music has been saying this for a long time. Sorry I cant give cash, but I'll give karma. Goodluck and good riddence......

Must be something in the water Everywhere With the wife thing my wife has been threating me with that also Then I go fishing or down to the cabin for a few days and she comes looking for me. I have moved one of my big tanks down there now that way I have a place to put everything when the time comes I hope it never does but its happened twice already so I keep an eye open. Sorry to hear about your tank I have had them boil and do all sorts of wierd things flood the house ect . But that is my worst nightmare I guess thats why I I always buy the thickest glass and I have learned to not go cheap in this Hobby. Not saying you did or anything. I had a friend who spend 5000 on a tank and it had a seam come apart!!! Yah ouch 1200 gallons on the floor and filling his vents all through the house.
