I mixed up some salt with the new system. Pretty cool. Dumped it in and sat back and controlled the mixing pump through my apex fusion app.

Thanks Zesty! My exhaust fan came in. little larger than I thought. Gonna work on the install next week. Have some planning to do - don't really want to be cutting beams.

That's something I want to someday involve in my sump area. Right now it's in a closet, I leave the door open 24/7 unless someone is staying overnight and I shut the door to block the light and noise it makes. Not my rule, I would make guests suffer... but I guess I'm just mean like that. However, I don't like having the sump room closed up like that.

I am using a Panasonic inline 340 cfu fan with 6" exhaust tube. I am going to hook it up to my apex so it kicks one once an hour for about 10 minutes. Not quite sure yet. on how I will program it - as far as times etc.

So I did a 40 gallon water change. It took me about 30 min start to finish. Pumping in the new water.... worked flawlessly.

So, you are just going to plump this into your existing HVAC system, correct? I'm using a closet with nothing in there as far as vents... hmmmm. I think I'm back to square one as of right now. But this is good to have it dinging around in my brain.

pumping in new water, no carrying buckets, no splashing water around before the ole lady sees it and wonders what I've done wrong. how do you like this utopian world you like in?

Zesty - The room my sump is in is partially finished and the ceiling is open. This fan will fit between the rafters. I will then run a 6" line through the wall into my garage and out the back of the house and cover it like a dryer vent. I need a way to get the moisture out of the room because between the boiler and chiller - it gets pretty warm in there. As far as the Utopian world of not schlepping buckets - AHHHHHHH!!!!

Bravo. Very jealous. You are reaping the rewards of your hard work.

Glad to hear about the fan too. That has to be key.

Thanks Matt! I think I spend more time in the sump room than in front of the DT!
