recomend me a light for a 40b!

    hi ill looking for a good lighting system for my 40 breeder reef tank. it will have softies, lps, and sps. its only about 15" tall with the sand bed. any light that you guys could recomend to keep sps? im leaning toward t-5 but mh is an opption too. thanks!

    A 6X39W T5 will work well and cover the width of the tank. A 4X39W will work but you will want to put light needing animals below the reflectors. Make sure and get a fixture with individual reflectors that are formed in a half circle. ATI, Tek or even Coralife Extreme will be fine. Just replace stock no name bulbs after about 3 months.

    cool how would a tek 4 bulb stand with sps though?

    The Tek Elite would be the best purchase and will work fine. The regular Tek you will want to cool with a fan to keep your bulbs going best.
