    @crystal. What else is in the tank besides chromic and clowns ? Do you plan to keep corals ? Live rock ? Live sand ?

    I also have a 55 at the moment. Maybe consider a wrasse like a mystery or melanarus (assuming you have a sand bed).

    A one spot MAXES at 7 inches. It's the smaller of the Fox face varieties. And how are they messy? I had one for along time and I loved it.

    They aren't messy;just nervous.They school in nature and keeping them singly makes them skittish at best IME.They do calm down a bit over time and are pretty hardy.I wouldn't keep one in a 55 though. I had 3 in a 220 and they were great.;)
