I have an aqua c remora. Have had it for 3 months and i like it but the micro bubble won't go away. What is a comp that won't break the bank?

I have an in-sump Eshopps PSK-100 for my 55 and think it is a great value! I don't know if you have a sump though. If you do, you will need to maintain a constant sump level, so an ATO is a must. If you don't, they also make HOB models (PSK-XXXH) that I have heard work just as well.

Check the threads of the SC150, and the SC65. If this is in insump application, then you can not find a better skimmer for the price, maybe even half the price.

I'm running the SC150 on my 125reef, with a 50g sump, and it works awesome.

+1 I'm running the SC65 on my 36 bow with a 20g sump and I cant be happier! I did find that I had to raise it some so that I could adjust dial to lessen the micro bubbles but I haven't had to change is since! Super quiet as well!

Well here is the thing. Im in the process of making my own. I'm picking out a tank size to convert right now. I kind or wanted to find a skimmer that would work better for this application. Has anyone made their sump?

You can also get an attachment called a pre skimmer I think. Might just be for the aqua c remora pro but it fits around the pump and has a micro bubble diffusing sponge. Also increases skimmate production. Just a thought would be cheaper

I have the pre skimmer for the remora and it solved the microbubble issue 100%. I highly recommend it.
