    I just bought some Red Acans for $25, It got 4 heads on the frag plug.
    Can I get some info on them, These are my first acans :)

    Yep, those are feeding tentacles. You can feed them anything meaty like brine or mysis. They will grow quicker when spot fed.

    Keep them in low light. They're known for losing color with too much light.

    Yeah I did a lil bit of reading, I dug the plug a lil in the sand bed.

    You can feed them and that will help them grow faster, but don't feel obligated to do so. I rarely if ever feed mine and they are doing just fine. They are also very hardy IMO and IME and are a really nice coral.

    Is there any threads I can read more about Acans, I can't seem to find anything on acans =/
