    What type of flow do you have?

    Probably a nutrient issue. How often do you feed? is there a lot that falls to the sand?

    To be honest, I would just siphon it out, it really does not look to be all that much or really unsightly at all.....

    looks like the problem has been sorted

    I bought a chiller and now the temp is a steady 24C. Now the sand is clearing up nicely. thanks for all your advice :)
