I have this exact same issue with the same parameters pretty much. I would also like a pointer. My lights are about a month old otherwise, same situation. Ideas :)

phos may be used as it is accumulated and would not show on tests. is it slimy? could be a dino outbreak and the lighting may make it look redish. do you have corals in this tank? I suggest lights out for 4 days cover the tank from ambient light and then slowly crank the lighting back up to full power. worked for me and didnt lose any coral. just an idea though

also the reason its only during the day is because the pods eat it at nite

the answer might be in your bulb choice... what is your type of lighting, how many watts, and brand name of your bulbs?

that whole lights out idea sounds like a good one, I am having the same problem right now too. chemiclean wont work for me and I have given it like 6 treatments in a row.

If I give the tank no light for 4 days, should I still feed them and could no light hurt the fish or an anemone? you said corals should be safe. I have just one of those.

    I'm ready to try anything.
