Red Bugs!

I took a macro shot of one of my acros today and found them. You need to zoom in and look close. I know they can be treated with interceptor. Has anybody just left them to see if they stay in check or will they kill or stunt everything?

are you sure they arent copepods or maybe there just part of the coral cant really tell from that pic

 

I need one of those cameras.....

Do you see any health problems with your acros???

 

a guy im my local reef club had them in his acros and got rid of them...heres the link to the thread on our forum, it doesnt help too much, but it has a link to melevs that will help you out

That's how I found out we had them....dang macro lens

Get rid of them. They will irritate your corals which may eventually lead to their demise.

No. Everything looks healthy. By the way this is one of the acros I bought with you. So far this is the only one I've seen it on but I haven't taken macro shots of everything yet. The big blue one I bought that night is clean.
