I am fairly certain that my red coris is starting to get its adult coloration!
I have read that this process takes some time (up to a year) so I will be updating it along the way.
Recently he has grown a good 1.5-2" very rapidly and has developed an electric blue on his dorsal and caudal fins. Small blue dots are appareling right in front of his tail. His body seems to be darkening the slightest bit also.

    Juvi: (Feb. 25, 2011)

The blue dots on the tail and fins are a little bit more obvious now (Mar. 22, 2011)

Blue has progressed, tail has developed a bit of color (May 30, 2011)

This is it's young stage. The progression is very slow and he has just started so this is the only pic I can supply as far as changes

I will live vicariously through you then :), I always ask at my LFS about them since they always have one. They hate me, I'm like "what's that awesome fish" they're like "Joe for the 100th time that's a coris wrasse and you can't keep it in your tank" and then I go "what's that awesome fish" and it goes on for like 4hrs.
