this wrasse eats basically everything invert. if the cbs isn't eaten now it will be in the future

the fish also needs a pretty deep sand bed, and eats alot

Keep it fed and there may not be a problem. I have a fish of this type and all my inverts are cool. Omard has one as well and his inverts are OK. It just depends on the fish. You will notice, however, that it is only out for half the day and then retreats for the night. One of the most beautiful fish out there IMO.

My wrasse is adult. It's about six inches long. Honestly, if it were to turn bad (and they can), I wouldn't care. It's worth it. It is a pig though. After all the other fish are done feeding, he is still gobbling up the food. My nitrates now start rising in anticipation of feeding. I had to switch up my schedule for this fish alone. Instead of twice a week, I am at four times weekly in the morning (I used to do it in the evening).

Concerning my overflow.....Yes. It does keep it's prime. I was happy. Thanks for the help on that one.

And my sandbed is only an inch or two deep. So it just hides in the rock I think. It might be buried also, who knows. There is no finding that bad boy once it has gone down for the night.
