    Not sure what exact species a Red Coris is, but here is the general information on the Coris family:

    "Coris species range in size, but mainly are bigger than hobbyists realize. Some get to more than two feet in length. All species are tough to the point of being mean, and predators of many invertebrate groups, making them really only suitable for fish-only systems."

    yea, heads up with blue spot disease. Very beautiful, I actually saw 2 at one of the LFS here yesterday, they were about 8 and 12 inches long. I hope that's not going in your 12 gal. ;D
