My vote is in the sump big time.

I have not heard good things about Red Emeralds if that is what it is, but I have never had one.

I have not had any problems with Red Emerald crabs when I have had them.

    SUMP ASAP

Never take the chance with crabs IMO, I have had to many that eat polyps. I chased a purple acro eater around a 75 gallon tank for a year and half. I was so mad by the time I captured him, he didn't make it to the sump....

    Red emerald crabs...hmmmmm

seemed like a good idea at the time.........emerald crab ....red ...green ... i assumed one in the same ...NOT
i had these wonderful toadstools in my tank.....happy.....healthy.....growing huge. Suddenly they started to just flake out on me and everything else in the tank was doing fantastic still. well after thinking of what it may be and coming up with nothing .....when the lights cycled off, out came the chair and the flashlight.......
i found the red emerald crab tearing huge chunks off my toadstool from his little hiding spot in the rock.knowing capture would take time i moved the toadstool to a new location......across the tank. i went back an hour later and there he was across the tank ripping the poor toadstool to death.
he was eventually caught and put in the refugium, the toadstool didn't survive andi learned a new rule for me................NO CRABS!!!!!
this culprit is included in my video i will be entering in the contest ......you can see how aggessive those little pinchers can be!!!
