I was wondering if anyone has these guys, are they reef safe, how big do they get, minimum tank size, and diet.

I would say with caution. A number of local people had them and they suddenly died an fouled their water. Mine lived for a long time, but I caught it eating my corals more than once. I took it out when I saw it devour a baby acan head right in front of me.

They are considered reef safe. Most do not survive long in our tanks because we do not have the right food for them. If you get one do a lot of research on what it eats.

I don't think so, a 55 or larger seems to offer the best chances from what I have seen. i don't like what I heard from Barbianj either.

They were a big thing here for a bit. I think a few people may still have them, but most died off. Like 2in10 said about what they eat, we may not have the right food for them in our tanks. Maybe not the right type of bacteria film algae or whatever.

If you do get one, watch it closely. It seems when they die they foul the water. That could be bad in a small tank.

I'm pretty sure all brittles and serpent stars are reef safe. I have a few and I love watching them
