I got one of these today. I have a 46 gallon 7 year old mixed reef. I have about 60lbs of LR and no sand. What do these guys really eat and do I need to supplement there diet? I acclimated for over an hour to get the SG, temp the same.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I have had them in larger tanks.

IMO they eat the bio-film on the surfaces of the tank and rock work.

For this reason I left area's untouched and often found them in those areas.

Very cool add, I definitely want to add one of those to my reef tank.

+1, you can't supplement. Just try to leave the rock and sand untouched. Beautiful star btw, best luck!
