red leg hermit crabs

Help! my grabs are killing each other,started with the three blue legs and now i have a war going on. i had twelve and now i have six left. I could use a little help here folks.

 

Do the hermit crabs have empty shells in the tank for when they outgrow their current shells? Hermits will often kill each other to steal shells.

 

yes, not a lot of them but the bigger crabs are killing the smaller crabs,and their shells are smaller.

 

Your thread title says red leg hermits but your post says blue leg hermits. Are the red legs killing the blue legs?

 

is there a lack of food for them to eat? how long have they lived together? mayb you just have some bad apples

 

yes, the red legs killed the blue legs, and nowthe reds are killing each other. have had them about two weeks , mean little guys not liking them much ! yes they have food.

 

I see a little gang relation going on. Blood vs crips.
