    Just got Modern Warfare for X Box last week and tonight I got the 3 flashing red lights. I am sending im my console tomorow and it will take 2-3 weeks to repair.

    Just had to vent somewhere.

    Ouch.

    I have heard a little about this issue.
    I guess I am lucky. When my ps2 wouldn't play, I found a "repair" that really only had me clean it out.

    I have been thinking of getting an xbox360, then I see more threads and people having these problems.

    my 360 is giving me the flashing red lights too. I have already sent it back for repairs once. In microsoft's defense they did repair my out of warranty machine for free, so that was good.

    Thats why I have both haha... well more so the fact I have a high paying job, live with my parents so no bills, and no life. ;D

    The towel trick doesnt work (for very long). I take it apart.

    well its basically the soder on the gpu and cpu gets uneven ( from getting hot) and needs to be redone. Some times it can be other things and i dont know how to fix that.
