I got a nicely size Red Logo who was looking great for a few months then slowly got lighter in color in a few parts and now those parts of him almost overnight is showing the skeleton. I have a 46 gallon with a sunpod 2 150 watt 14000K and he was on rock about 12 inches from the lighting. I just placed him on the sand bed about 19 inches from the light. Marine Depot suggested this. Do you think he will heal and look better and where do you guys think he should be placed? Ph is 7.8 - 8, ALk is 10 calcium is 420. Weekly 10% water changes. He was close to my Koralia 1 power head before.
    Thanks,
    Adam

The only times Ive ever had a brain recede like that is when getting too much light and a clam (big one) blew the brain full of sand while I was on vacation. Might wanna try spot feeding. Dont know if any of this applies...good luck:)

they are fairly hardy corals so I wouldn't worry too much at this point, I would leave it where it is and see if it gets any better, if it gets worse, then I would take action again.
