ok so when i bought my green favia there was this little piece of red macro algae attached to the rock its on.. I never really thought of taking it out but it has grown quite a bit and now its touching the side of my favia and still growing.

so my question is.. should i remove it? or just let it be?
the algae is red, kinda branching and bushy like.
