Seems to me they will be a bit hard to package for shipping once they root and get leaves, the roots need to stay wet and the leaves are kind of delicate and probably wont survive shipping.

The leaves will be lost for sure but I've shipped them to a friend in WA and the tree made it just fine. I soaked paper towel in tank water, wrapped it around the roots then bagged just the paper towel and root area. Wrapped the whole thing in newspaper, insulated very well with more newspaper and added a heat pack to the lid of the box. They made it just fine and are growing well for my friend.

I've recieved trees with roots and leaves packed the same way only the box was insulated with actual R13 pink LOL.

My MG was 1,340, I just started bringing it up to 1,450. Could it have been that?

not trying to stray from the topic here, but dont most macros require a 1400+ mag level and some even require other nitrogen dosing for proper growth? im curious because i have 3 different kinds of macro and 2 of them seem to be on the decline and i am currently not dosing any form of nitrogen fertilizer because im not actually sure if its needed or not or if those chemicals on the shelf at the LFS are just another way for the mfg to make a buck.

I would PM Incognito, he seems to have 13 tanks with beautiful macros growing in all of them.

From what I've read, Mangroves especially do not do well with Mag above 1300. Also make sure you mist the exposed stems to keep salt creep off and to keep them hydrated every few days - this should help them get started as well
