Which color morph do you think is cooler?

Both color morphs are from the same animal. My pet Mr. Fister. He started out green but became red which is the opposite of what happens to most peoples N. Wennerae.

Huh, that is cool. I have what I think is a Wennerae living in my fuge. It hitchhiked into my bosses tank on some Florida LR. When he/she was young it was a brownish-brick red and now is a vivid neon green.

Probably a N. Wennerae. Wennerae from deeper than 30 feet are usually red but change to green under full spectrum aquarium lighting. They can also change color due to their habitat, I believe the large amount of red algae led him to turning red.

He's beeing living under a standard 6500k spiral bulb, so that would make sense. Cool little bugger, he is now brave enough to take food directly from a pair of tweezers when offered :)

wow..that is cool! I would say I love whatever color he is now!!!!!

But personally I like the green version as that is the color of my mantis!

I am not familar with other types of mantis, is this a result of him/her growing up or from better food that you were feeding then what he was getting in wild????

    Cool though

I actually like the red...Princess is a brownish orange rusty looking color, with little yellow feet, and some blue on her front. My mom's description. I'm color deficient :p

Nope. It is the result of him changing colors to match his surroundings. Most of the macro algae in the tank is red, except for some green stuff i added after he turned red.
