i have had this red open brained coral for about 2 months now and its been getting lighter and lighter. the red is now more of a neon pink and the green is more of a greenish white. the skeleton is not showing or anything. i have it on the bottom of the tank. i have t5 lighting. all of my other corals are thriving. is my brain dying? is there anything i can do?

My metallic green brain did that the first couple months I had him. He's still alive. New corals usually change their color, at least slightly, to the lighting of the new home. What lighting do you have?

With many corals and anemones, their colors will shift depending on the lights they are under. That is their adaptation to survive. My anemone has gone from what is in my avatar to a very light (it looks bleached in photos) to a neon green. Think about it this way, humans are no different, when we are in the sun a lot, our skin changes color from fleshy to a bronze color, they are no different. :)
