I have no idea where to put this coral.. Should I put it up close to my light or more in the middle of the tank? Also My salt is to high. What is the quickest way to bring it down?

I am not 100% sure but I would assume care would be the same as most softies. Lower-mod lighting and low-mod flow. I am not sure what your lighting is but if it is a strong unit like MH or strong LED than I woud put it on the bottom to start with and work it up to where you want it.

How high is your salt? Is there anything in the tank like fish or other corals currently? If so to drastic a change is very stressful and can cause shock to them. Every water change you do just make the batch on the weak side to bring it down slowly. I dont adjsut by more than .001 a day, for example if you are 1.032 today bring it to 1.031 today 1.030 tomorrow and so forth

Not sure on the coral, but the easiest way to lower salinity is to do a water change, and replace with either all RO/DI water, or lower salinity SW. How many gallons is your system, and how high is it? What you don't want to do is do it too fast and shock the system.

Ok, then if you remove 1/2 gal of SW and replace with RO/DI, it should lower your salinity by .005. You could do this every day for a week, and get it down to 1.026. Make sure you check salinity everyday.

And are you using a refractometer, and are you calibrating it with 35ppt solution?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Take out a 1/8-1/4 gallon of water out and replace it with FW RO/DI preferably. Do this every 6-8 hours until you get to the desired SG. Watch the snails and hermits for stress, if they show stress then slow down.

Pipe organs should go mid level, under mod lighting with mod to a tad higher flow to prevent algae growth on the skeleton. It will not open if the flow is too high and will grow algae on the skeleton if the low is too high.

I'm using a refractometer. And no, i really don't have a clue what that is.

Here is an example: Aquarium Testing Solution: American Marine Inc. 53.0 mS Calibration/Reference Fluid

You should use a calibration solution every time you use your refractometer (at least that is what I do). It will either confirm it is reading correctly, or if it is off, allow you to calibrate it. I feel it is a must with a refractometer.
