I have recently purchased a Red Sea C-Skim 1800 and plan to put it in an Eshopps RS-300 sump. My question is for those who have successfully used this skimmer, what pump did you buy to feed it and more importantly how long was the tubing between the pump and skimmer?

Feed pump depends on size of aquarium, you can feed at whatever rate you want for recirc. What size is your tank? I would say an MJ900 or equivalent will take care of anything 100 gallons or less. Thats what I use on my recirc in a 45 cube.

I used this skimmer for a couple of years. fell for the neck washing trick. turned out to be crap and the neck washer sucked. I had to replace the impaler pump every year because it would over heat. then the plastic nipples started to break off. first the air intake valve then the water intake. threw it out and got a hydor 1005 with an avast swabbe neck wiper. been happy ever since.
