So I just got the calcium and Ph and alk pro kit. Super complicated lol this was first time using it. My calcium is at 500. I believe that's high its a 24G aqua pod? I dose 2 part every morning 1 tablespoon oceans blend and the mag one too.

My alk I have no idea how to work it or I'm way off the charts lol it does not change colors just says like the water color or orange pink kinda color maybe I'm putting too much ? I put .5 and nothing all the way up too 2.0 and no color change at all.

My Ph is at a 8.0 at night lights turn off at 10.30 ish And its only blue at about 8:45 till lights out then fuge light in back turns on.

    What do u think

    Hi dyskers

unfortunately my experience with the Red Sea coral pro Alk test kit was identical to yours
I liked the Calcium and Magnesium kits and they gave me comparable results with my standard Go - To Salifert kits

but the Alkalinity test seemed faulty to me

I know others have experienced similar issues with this kit also

I know you have just spent the money, but my advice would be get yourself a Salifert Alkalinity test kit, and you will get a useable result and know where you are

Was contemplating buying this kit. This thread is making me think otherwise.
