Red Sea Mag Test Kit

    Well we added another full 1 ml and it still didnt turn blue????

    wow , I keep a high mag around 1600 which leaves me with .2 left in the syringe.
    so its one of two things,
    your mag is so high it can't read it (wont change blue) if you went through 1 full syringe that would be 2000ppm of mag. 2 syringes would be 4000ppm of mag.

    so I don't believe your mag is that high I think you have a faulty test kit.

    just to make sure (not that I am saying you are doing it wrong):
    fill test tube up to 2ml (of tank water)
    5 drops of a
    5 drops of b (shake)

    fill syringe to 1.0ml (reagent c)
    drip in till it turns blue.

    I got the Red Sea 30 with the Red Sea Master Test Kit... HA HA.. Damn things...After a months and a half of test Nitrite and Nitrate coming up the same during cycle I found my old fastest/Seatest master kit and bought supplies for that.. Strange thing they actually gave me correct readings.. Shelved the Red Sea Kit.. except for strangely enough the CA Kit. Mine turns blue between 450 and 500 which is where I like to keep it.
