So here is it I dont have pics up yet but will be getting them up pver the next week. I designed it with a well known sump company and brought in a few extras for my local nano buddies! Ill give the specs of it its 20x16x14 high has a refugium in it with a space for a pm skimmer in the front. The plumbing will run through the chiller area and also comes with a light for the refugium! I cant wait until I have the chiller plumbing for the red sea and can hook it up! I thought that it was possible and now can have a skimmer that does something in this system. Just had to spread the news as the local guys I got them for are pretty excited too! Its got all the percs of a big system sump with a smaller foot print. The skimmer is 20 in tall in the cabinet so you take out the shelf in the cabinet but it will be awesome!

    Steve,

I will have pics as soon as I can! this sump took over a month to design and build and I have had one of the best sump companies build it to my specs. I will have it running over the next week pending that I can get the chiller piping from rsm in the next week. It will be impressive and affordable if anyone is looking for one. I was told it cant be done and it is done now! I will have a light and skimmer installed on mine and also will put some mangroves and macro algae in the fuge! I cant wait to post pics

again its 20 wide 16 deep and 14 tall. It will have a place with felt bag for inlet then into refugium then filteration into skimmer then to pump chamber. There will be no micro bubbles and it will make nano keeping much easier. Skimmer is 20 in tall so the top shelf of cabinet will need to be removed.

Crappy pic yes I know. There is a light also from I believe atp? for the refugium. There is a filter sock for the return that is behind the skimmer and also the skimmer is not set in right just threw it in there to get a pic it does not drain into the refugium but the first chamber

Here it is set in the cabinet. Going to start the plumbing in a few. I have chose a 400 gph pump to start with and will have a gate valve to turn it down if needed. I put the light inn and then took it out so I can mess around in there. I have a big ball of chateo ready to see the refugium when its time.
