ok this is what i do:

fill the vile with 2ml tank water
Use a for 5 drops in vile stir
use b for 5 drops stir

you should now have a red liquid,

fill syringe with reagent (bottle C) to the 1.0 mark if your using the tip on it then just bring the stopper to the 1.0 mark don't worry about the actual lvl of the reagent.

Now squirt into the vile (with the red mix) until the stopper reads .6
then mix (the vile should still be close to red,

now put in one drop and mix keep doing this until the vile turns blue.

now read where the stopper is on the syringe.

now 1.0 - (where the stopper is at) x 2000 will give you your mag.

1 last question, Do you use the attachment they give you for the syringe for the drops or just the syringe?

The needle tip makes it easier to drop smaller droplets into the tube, and thus can help get a more accurate measurement.

If you do use the tip, just plunge down the syringe all the way like normal, and pull it up to the 1.0 mark. You don't want to take out the air bubble, as it will be the compensation for the air you can't get out of the needle tip.

if you mag was that low, your calcium and alk probly wouldnt be that high. IMHO

put 2ml tank water in main test tube.
put 5 drops total of bottle A, make sure to do 1 drop at a time and shake 15seconds between drops.

put 5 drops of bottle B, shake for 2 seconds. put test tube down for 1 minute.

then fill syringe with 1.0 ml of Bottle C, inject .4ml of bottle C regment into test tube. shake for 5 seconds. inject 1 to 2 drops and shake for 5 seconds again. once that nice navy blue color shows up in the test tube. report back whats left in syringe to us!
