    So far it has produced about 1" of murky water only. I have to run it with the intake valve almost completely closed or else it produces tons of micro bubbles.
    It's noisy and with the surface cup looks huge in the back of the tank. With the light stand I can't fit it on the side. My only hope is that it will start magically working or I'll make a 5-10 gal sump and move it there (more likely).

    your micro bubbles will go away after the "break in or slime in" period, might be up to a month, but more likely a week or two.

    Hmm, someone told me to clean it already, so I rinsed the slime. Did I extend yet *another* cycle? ::)

    i have the same one, and yeah its a little loud, but i definatly sucks some crap outa my tank!! i like mine
