I just got this in the mail today and I would like to share my thoughts so far. I plan to post my test results later in the week. As always Red Sea has made another solid feeling test kit, everything looks and feel very professional. One complaint I have so far before testing is getting everything back into the storage container. Otherwise everything looks simple and well laid out.

Thoughts after doing all three tests.

Honestly, they are all very easy to do. But they can take a good chunk of time, but the results are easy to understand. The benefits of this kit have already paid off, I hope to have better color when I get things leveled out again.

I have just recently used this kit and agree with all your assesments. My only two complaints area as follows..

1)Made me realize that I have to now dose for iron and potassium instead of just iodine... means more $ and another marine magic doser.... :)

2)The kit made me buy other kits so I can make a set of it... more $$ they look so pretty...

Im really interested in your results with this test kit. Nick (a mutual friend of ours) had really good results using these test kits and the recommended dosing regiment that goes along with it. I honestly have no experience testing for these levels or dosing for these elements but his results were very impressive. If you are successful I might look into picking up this kit.

Been doing the Colors kit for a few weeks now. The test are easy, and will take up some time. Easily down a couple beers during the 3 tests. I don't have any problem putting the items back in the case Chris...were you one of those square peg in the round hole babies? :p It is a tight squeeze for everything, but I like the hard shell case over just a box like the Saliferts. I have noticed an increase in colors for the SPS that I had established before dosing. My new additions seem to be doing great, and have colored up a lot more since introduction. I too was low on everything when I tested. Since my first addition of K(Potassium), I have not registered low in 2 additional tests (weekly). Fe and I have both decreased steadily over the week, where I now have a daily usage amount after 3 weeks.

Any updating biocube? Have you contineus to test and dose and noticed any difference in colors or growth of your corals?

Not sure if testing for these things is very common in this hobby, but I would look into doing it if it made a difference. How reliable are the results in your opinion and is it something you can test weekly or do you need to test daily to get a dosing regiman going?

No updates yet, I have been putting this on hold until I got Warner Marine C-Max and the right salt.

I want to dose my Trace Elements consistently throughout the entire day. And the salt (I/O Salt) is very stable and consistent.
