How about using red sea salt? It has tons of trace elements that you otherwise can't dose.

" The reality is that ALL marine salts have the SAME NUMBER of TRACE ELEMENTS -- ALL trace elements. The issue is not existence, but proportionality."

Doesnt look like they published any significant data to back their claims and it is an opinion over 12 years old. Corallife and Red Sea salts have not come in those packages in a long time lol

That's one nice option but I want to have a constant level of Trace Elements in my tank at all times. I have been using salt at the moment to replace all missing elements but there's a lot better way to get elements back into your tank via water changes.

Iv decided to use Warner Marine Alk/Ca buffer. Basically when I'm dosing Ca or Alk I also add trace elements back into the tank because each two part contains other essential mineral needed for color/growth.

Interesting never read up on them keep us posted with how they do.

Are they pricey? I am using the BRS 2-part CA and alk and it seems like I use a ton to get my levels up, but at $3 a gallon it still takes some time to use compared to when I dosed aquavitro at $10 a small bottle but only took 14-28ml. Still went through the bottles quickly though

Interesting I'll look into that. I use BRS stuff where I mix it myself, will these still have those elements?

I think you can get 1x1 gallons for $30.00, since I run a nano I can afford to do this, granted I use 30ml per day (each) and I plan to add more coral and my system keeps sucking more and more per day.

Yup!! This will have Part A & B (Alk & Ca) also it will have major/minor trace elements vs BRS that only contains Alk & Ca.

    Key to success! ;)

Really like your Medieval serf-like approach to that link. I would 'Google some' articles for you to plod through and hotlink for your bread crumb trail, but this guy is alot smarter than I:
