    Hi All,

i am from Egypt as you might know . after the 25th Jan revolution , salt water importing became very rare so i am stuck with no water change for 3 months !!!
luckily i had a turf filter which helps allot in the water quality but 3 months are tooooooooo long so i started to bring water from the Red Sea ( 2 hours car drive from home) 100 Liter at a time. i have 200 Liter reef tank.

the Question is can i store like 500 Liters or so in container with perfect flow , water movements, aeration and keeping the salinity stable ???

    Thanks

yes you can store it like that, also you can let it sit still and store it if you are interested I can tell you more about that process. (includes time and/or chlorine)

I have met a lot of great people from there over the years through my friends family, (they are originally from outside of Cairo), I hope things improve for everyone there and it all transitions smoothly.

Yeah, you should have no problem storing it that way. Granted I don't have any experience in long term storage of saltwater but I can offer my "Best of Luck" wishes to you.

yup you can definitely do that, i have a 500ish gallon container in my basement i use to store saltwater, i only have a huge air pump to circulate it.my container is almost all sealed up so i dont get much evaporation but for you depending on the container you may need to add fresh water to keep salinity stable
